She was a United States Unlimited Aerobatics Team member for the 2006-2007 season and the youngest female ever to make the team. Melissa also has several achievements as the four time winner of the "Pitts Trophy", Northwest and Southwest Intermediate Regional Aerobatic Champion in 2004, the Intermediate "Unknown" Champion Nationals 2004, and a three time National's Medalist.

This is the new digital VIO-POV.1 solid state camera and video recorder mounted in the USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon, commonly called the "Viper". The POV.1 records in DVD quality on an SD card with eighty-three minutes recording time on a two Giga-byte card. The recording time was sufficient to get two flights recorded without changing the card or the batteries.
