The Russian military jet aerobatic team "Russian Knights" SU-27 blows a tire while landing. The amount of tire debris closed the main runway until crews could remove the chunks of the tire from a few thousand feet of the runway. The team's crew came out to the end of the runway and changed the main mount. Luckily, this happened on a practice day and not during the airshow. The Russian Knights put on a great show that weekend with numerous maneuvers that included the launching of their self defense anti-missile flares.

On Sunday at the California Capital Airshow 2007, I decided to grab the still camera for the F-15 demo. This photo was taken during the four-point roll and demonstrates the precision of the manuever- a perfect 90 degree angle.
