The Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. are based out of Chino, California and import the L-39 for customers. The aircraft are completely torn down to inspect, then each and every part is refurbished to factory new condition. The finish of the components, interior and exterior painting, and custom cockpit treatments result in the aircraft looking more like an expensive sports car. Customers can order just about anything for the look of the interior and exterior. Most noted was Gold, Chrome, leather, and carpeting treatments that add the extra touch to the already beautiful aircraft.
Julie Clark's American Aerobatics is one of the most popular patriotic performances at airshows in North America. Julie Clark marks her 28th year flying solo aerobatics. She chose the T-34 because of her many hours flying the same type aircraft as a civilian military instructor for the Navy at Lemoore Naval Air Station in 1974 through 1975. Her Navy training included tactical maneuvers, formation flying, and aerobatics. Julie is rated in more than 65 types of aircraft and has logged more than 27,000 accident free hours.
This is Sean D. Tucker's first promo video for his airshow aerobatics 20 years ago. 1988 saw Sean take a giant leap into the airshow business. As a crop duster and competition aerobatics winner, Sean steps it up a notch with "Power Aerobatics". His airshow career starts here.
Filming was done at the Salinas, California airport, Wayne Handley's runway in Greenfield, California, and the Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose, California.
Rocky Hill and the Extra 300 is an aerobatic display of pure gut twisting flying. Filmed at my favorite airport in Calaveras County, California, the scenic backdrop can't be beat. Cockpit video cameras record the intense cockpit action. Tighten your seatbelt for this one!
Steve Stavrakakis and the "Wild Thing" Zlin-50 is an action packed and gut wrenching aerobatic routine. Steve trained in Europe with Zlin test pilots and fine tuned his skills by training with the Czech national aerobatic champions at the Zlin Air School in the Czech Republic. Wild Thing and wild camera angles- including cockpit cameras, bring the intense aerobatic sequence up close and "in your face". Hang on for a wild ride!
