T-28C Trojan / Legends Over Madera Airshow 2009/ Photo Gallery

The T-28C Trojan was the Navy's pilot training workhorse for decades. With it's rugged design and classic lines, the T-28 will be around for a long time.
The Legends Over Madera Airshow had a good and well rounded schedule of flying activity that attracted aviation enthusiasts of all breeds. From warbirds to the Patriots Jet Team, there was something for all die hard airplane nuts. There were areas for children to enjoy playing, a variety of food, and the usual airshow vendors. Static displays were a bit thin with most of the aircraft being in the "hot" area for the flying events. All active aircraft in the show were available for the fans to walk around until the airshow began. With a good number and variety of beautiful warbirds, it was a great small show that lived up to it's name.
The flying activity included P-51s, P-40, F6F, B-25s, T-6s, Bill Reesman MiG-17, Julie Clark T-34, Patriots L-39 Jet Team, Bill Cornick Pitts, John Collver T-6, and Spencer Suderman Pitts.
